I've been struggling with depression for years, and nothing seems to help. My psychiatrist suggested trying Nardil (phenelzine), an MAO inhibitor. I'm a bit nervous about the strict diet and potential side effects, but I'm desperate for something to work. Has anyone here had experience with Nardil 15mg Tablets? I'd love to hear about your journey, both positive and negative. Also, any tips for managing the diet would be greatly appreciated!

Be really careful with this med. I had a hypertensive crisis and ended up in the ER. It was terrifying. Make sure you understand the signs and symptoms and always carry a list of foods you can't eat to show to restaurants, friends, etc.

Make sure to discuss this and any other options with your doctor. It's important to find the right medication that works for you and your life situation.

I had a friend who was on Nardil and he loved it. He said it really helped with his anxiety and depression. The diet was tough but his family was really supportive and it worked well for him.

My mom had a really bad reaction to Nardil. She had to stop taking it and now we are looking at ECT for her treatment-resistant depression.

I tried Nardil and had to stop because of the dietary restrictions. It was just too difficult to manage. I ended up switching to a different MAO inhibitor and have been doing much better.

I was on Nardil while I was in therapy. I felt it helped with my depression, but I wasn't a huge fan of the constant psychoanalysis. I might have benefited from another therapy modality. I was glad to be off of it when my insurance ran out and I couldn't afford the copays anymore. But, it did work.

I’ve heard Nardil can be really hit or miss. Some people swear by it, while others have horrible experiences. Just be prepared for anything, I guess.

I've been on Nardil for a while now and it's been a game-changer. The diet is tough, but the improvement in my mood is worth it. Just make sure to communicate openly with your doctor and follow the guidelines strictly.

I was on Nardil for a few years and it changed my life. My psychiatrist was there with me every step of the way and I would not have been successful without a good doctor. Make sure you have a doctor who is knowledgeable in the intricacies of being on an MAO inhibitor and you should be able to thrive. Good luck!

I’ve been on Nardil for a few months now. I've noticed a big improvement in my energy levels and mood overall. The side effects were a bit rough at first, but they’ve eased up since then.
