I've been prescribed Nefazodone 250mg Tablets for my depression, and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the liver issues. Has anyone had experience with this medication? Did it help with your depression? How bad were the side effects? Did you have to stop taking it? I'm really hoping it helps, but I'm also really worried. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

I think it's worth a shot. I've been on it for 6 months and it's been a lifesaver. But definitely talk to your doctor about any concerns you have. Everyone's experience is different. Stay hopeful!

Be sure to get regular liver function tests. That's what my doctor ordered for me. I was on it for about a year and it worked well, but the liver checks are crucial. I can't stress this enough.

I had a really bad experience with it. I gained 20 pounds in 2 months and had terrible headaches. I had to stop taking it. Not for me. Stay cautious and listen to your body.

I switched to something else because of the potential eye issues. I have a family history of eye problems, so I didn't want to risk it. It's good for some, but not for everyone. Stay vigilant!

Took it for 2 years. It worked for me, and I had no major side effects. Just a bit of drowsiness at first. But everyone is different, so good luck to you!

I had a really bad reaction to Nefazodone. I developed a weird rash and had trouble breathing. Had to go to the ER. Not worth the risk for me.

Just started Nefazodone last week. So far, so good. No major side effects yet. Hoping it sticks around. Fingers crossed!

Why are they still prescribing this? It was discontinued in the US, right? I had to battle my insurance to cover it. Again, I had to fight the system to cover it. I switched to something else after a month and I'm glad.

I was on Nefazodone for a few months and it really helped with my depression. The side effects were manageable for me – mostly just dizziness and dry mouth. But everyone is different, so keep an eye on how you feel.
