I recently started taking Oracea 40mg capsules for my rosacea, and I'm wondering if anyone else has had any success with this medication. I've heard mixed reviews about how effective it is and what side effects to expect. I'm curious to know if anyone has had any major side effects like liver problems or increased pressure in the brain. What should I watch out for while taking this medication? My skin feels a bit better than before but not clear yet,has anyone noticed a delay before seeing the effect?

I started Oracea a few weeks ago and I'm already experiencing some side effects. I felt a bit dizzy and nauseated the first day, but it went away within a couple of days. I’m a bit anxious about the serious side effects. It helps to see other people are managing it well!
Oracea worked wonders for me. I was really struggling with the bumps and redness, but after a couple of months, my skin was almost back to normal. Just make sure to take it with food to avoid stomach issues.
I had to stop taking Oracea because it gave me horrible diarrhea. It was so bad that I had to go to the ER. I think it was the Clostridioides difficile-associated diarrhea. I'm glad I found out about it quickly because it could be life-threatening, but it’s definitely something to be aware of.
I've had a weird skin reaction, like a yellowish tinge. I didn’t think it was from Oracea, but after researching a bit, I realized it was a sign of liver issues. I immediately stopped taking it and spoke to my doctor. Thankfully, it seems to be okay now.
