Has anyone had success with Propafenone 425mg SR Capsules for atrial fibrillation?
I was recently prescribed Propafenone 425mg SR Capsules to manage my atrial fibrillation, and I'm curious if anyone else has had experience with this medication. I’m curious if anyone has had issues with swelling or weight gain. I’m only on week 2 but I’m already noticing some changes.
I had dizziness and fatigue at first, but it got better after a few weeks. Just be patient with your body.
Just be ready for the “taste change” side effect. Thought I was losing my mind, but it’s normal!
This medication definitely helps, but it’s no cure. You'll definitely still need to take it easy and listen to your body.
I've heard of fewer side effects with other drugs but my doc insists this is the best. Best of luck!
I take it and it works for me but my doctor also says to stay hydrated and watch out for any infection signs.
I had chest pressure once, but it was just a panic attack. Try to stay calm and drink water.
I switched to a different medication because I experienced some serious side effects. If you feel anything strange, don’t hesitate to call your doctor.
I’m not sure how much better this is than beta blockers. I have had issues with Propafenone—some heart failure symptoms too. Talk with your doc.
I was on Propafenone for a while, and it really helped control my arrhythmias. Just make sure to take it as prescribed and stay in touch with your doctor.
