I've been struggling with insomnia for a while now, and my doctor prescribed Restoril 15mg Capsules. I've heard it can be habit-forming, so I'm a bit hesitant. Has anyone here used Temazepam for a short period? How effective was it, and what side effects did you experience? I'm particularly concerned about the more serious side effects like memory problems or feeling confused. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

I used Restoril for a week when I was going through a rough patch. It worked wonders for helping me fall asleep quickly, but I felt pretty groggy the next day. Nothing too serious, though. Just be cautious with the dosage.

I hear so many mixed reviews. I've been thinking of trying it, but then I read about the side effects and I second guess myself. Maybe I'll give it a shot and see how I feel or try to sleep without feeling so groggy the next day.

I had some weird dreams on Restoril. Nothing too scary, but it was definitely different from my usual sleep patterns. Other than that, it was fine.

I am a bit skeptical about taking something like this since I've had issues with addiction to benzos in the past. Do any of you have advice on managing insomnia without relying on medications?

I find that using Restoril as a last resort is best. It should be a temporary solution, so I'd focus on changing the things that cause your sleep problems, but I can say it has been very effective.

I experimented with herbal remedies and lifestyle changes before going for any medications. Results varied, but I found that exercise and a consistent sleep schedule made a big difference, plus a glass of warm milk - it's amazing what nature can do for you.
