Has anyone had success with Ropinirole ER 12mg Tablets for Parkinson's treatment?
I started taking Ropinirole ER 12mg Tablets a few weeks ago to manage my Parkinson's symptoms. It's been a bit of a rollercoaster, and I'm curious to hear from others who have used this medication. What kind of side effects did you experience, and how well did it help with movement and stiffness? I've been lucky to avoid most of the serious side effects listed, but I've had some pretty bad insomnia and dizziness that's made daily tasks tougher. Has anyone else dealt with this and found any good strategies for coping? I swallow the tablet with a full glass of water on an empty stomach as suggested, but I'm wondering if anyone has tips on the best time of day to take it. Also curious how long it took to see noticeable improvements in symptoms. Thanks for sharing your experiences!

I've had good luck with Ropinirole ER. It really helped with my stiffness and made it easier to move around. I did experience some dizziness at first, but it went away after a couple of weeks, you might just need to give it more time. I'd recommend talking to your doctor about adjusting the dosage or timing if the side effects are too harsh. I've also found that eating a light snack before taking the tablet helps with the upset stomach.
Has anyone found that Ropinirole ER helps with the freezing episodes? That's been my biggest challenge and I'm hoping this might help.
Be careful with this one, it gave me some pretty intense hallucinations. Had to switch back to my old meds.
I've had some really bad side effects from Ropinirole ER too. I've been feeling really out of it and I'm just not sure if it's worth it. I've been trying to stick it out but it's been tough. I wish I could find something that works better for me. I'm glad I'm not alone in this though, it's nice to know that other people are going through the same thing. Hope we can all find something that works soon!
I had to stop taking Ropinirole ER because of the uncontrollable urges. It was causing me to spend way too much money and I couldn't control it. I wish I had known about this side effect before starting the medication.
I thought I was having a heart attack when I started getting chest pains but turns out it was just a side effect. Scared the heck out of me though.
I switched to Ropinirole ER from Pramipexole and I'm so much happier! It's like night and day. I feel more energetic and my movements are smoother. Side effects were minimal, just some slight dizziness and nausea but it's totally worth it for me!
I've been taking Ropinirole ER for about 3 months now and it's been a mixed bag. The tremors have definitely improved, but I've been dealing with some pretty bad dizziness and insomnia. It's been tough, but I'm hoping it gets better with time. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this and if there are any tips to manage it. I've been trying to take it at night but it's still really messing with my sleep.
I've been on this for a year now and it's been great. I did have some issues with sleepiness at the beginning but it went away after a few weeks. Now I'm feeling much better and moving around more easily. I recommend giving it a good few months to see if your body adjusts.
