I've been struggling with dry, irritated skin for a while now, and my dermatologist recommended Sonafine Emulsion. She said it should create a protective layer and lock in moisture, but I've only been using it for a week and haven't seen much improvement. Has anyone else tried this? How long did it take to see the effects? Does anyone know of a better product? I'm desperate at this point.

This looks like another one of those overhyped products. I'd rather stick to my good old petroleum jelly – less risk of side effects. But what do I know?

I've never tried Sonafine, but I've heard good things. However, I've had bad experiences with other moisturizers causing skin irritation. Has anyone experienced this with Sonafine? Please warn us if it's worse than normal moisturizers.

It's true that you should be careful with new products, especially if you have sensitive skin. I recommend doing a patch test before applying it all over. You should also consult with your dermatologist if you experience any unusual symptoms. There are some serious side effects listed.

Please be careful with this stuff. I had trouble with the Swelling and Redness. Go to the doctor. They gave me some anti allergic drugs and now I am fine.
