I've been struggling with hypothyroidism for a while now, and my doctor recently prescribed Thyroid 0.5gr (30mg) Tablets. I've done some research and found that it contains both T3 and T4 hormones, which is great because it mimics what my thyroid gland should be producing. However I am curious to know if anyone has had any significant side effects or if they’ve found it to be effective in managing their symptoms. I’ve read about some potentially serious side effects, so I’m a bit hesitant. Has anyone had a similar experience and what was your journey like? Also, any tips on managing the side effects would be greatly appreciated.

I like how it's a natural hormone replacement. Fake the body’s own hormones is safer right?

I wish I could say this was a miracle drug, but unfortunately, the side effects were too much for me to handle. I had to switch to a synthetic medication.

The hair loss was brutal at first, but my doctor assured me it's temporary. I'm on month 3 and it's starting to grow back.

I’ve noticed some mood swings since starting this medication. It’s a bit annoying, but I’m hoping it levels out soon. Has anyone else experienced this?

Definitely talk to your doctor if you experience any of the serious side effects. They can happen, but they are rare. I had some mild stomach cramps but they went away after a week.
