Has anyone had success with Triamcinolone 0.1% Ointment for eczema or psoriasis?
I've been struggling with eczema for years and my doctor recently prescribed Triamcinolone 0.1% Ointment. I've heard it can be really effective for reducing inflammation and itching, but I'm also a bit nervous about the potential side effects. Has anyone else used this ointment for eczema or psoriasis? How did it work for you? What should I expect in terms of side effects and how can I manage them? I'm looking for any advice or personal experiences to help me make the most of this treatment.

Can someone explain why this makes my skin look like I've been out in the sun too long? Is that a normal side effect? It's kinda gross.
I've used Triamcinolone for my psoriasis and it worked wonders! The redness and itching went away in just a few days.
I wish I could use this stuff forever. It cleared up my psoriasis completely. But my doctor said to limit it to two weeks at a time. Something about not wanting to mess with my body's natural cortisol production.
Be careful with this stuff. It's powerful but it can also thin your skin if you use it too much. My doctor told me to use it sparingly and only on affected areas.
I've been using it for a few weeks now and I've noticed some hair growth on the area I applied it to. Is that normal? Should I be concerned?
I think it's important to note that while triamcinolone can be really effective, it's a corticosteroid. Long-term use can lead to some serious issues like Cushing's syndrome or adrenal insufficiency. Be sure to talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits.
I noticed some irritation at the site where I applied it, but it went away after a few days. Stick with it if it's helping, but keep an eye out for any serious side effects.
I didn't have much luck with it. It didn't seem to do anything for my eczema. Maybe it works better for psoriasis? I switched to a different topical and it's been much more effective.
It worked for my eczema but I had to be careful not to get it in my eyes. It burned like crazy and I had to rinse it out immediately.
