Has anyone had success with Vandazole 0.75% Vaginal Gel for bacterial vaginosis?
I was prescribed Vandazole for bacterial vaginosis and I'm feeling a bit apprehensive. I've never used a vaginal gel before, and the side effects list is a bit scary. Has anyone here used it? How was your experience? I'm supposed to use it for 5 days, and I'm just not sure what to expect. The burning and tingling sensations, or mood changes, are what I'm most worried about. Any tips on how to make the process easier would be great too!

I had really bad watery discharge with a strong odor when I was using it, but I think it might have been a reaction to the gel rather than the infection itself. Plus the burning was unbearable! Just be careful and listen to your body.
I had a bit of trouble when I used it, I felt the gel burning for the whole 5 days and I had headaches and trouble sleeping, but I’m glad I stuck it out. I actually came down with a mood disorder, and my doctor told me to stop using it. Just be careful and read all the side effects.
I heard it can interfere with birth control, so if you're on the pill, you might wanna talk to your doctor about that. Also, I’ve been using this thing and a yeast infection came out of nowhere. That’s a thing, guys.
I used Vandazole last year and it worked wonders. I had no major side effects, just a bit of irritation at first, but that went away quickly. Just make sure to apply it before bed so you can lie down and relax. It's hard to get used to at first, but definitely worth it to get rid of the infection.
