I've been prescribed Nilandron 150mg Tablets as part of my prostate cancer treatment plan, alongside surgery and other medications. I've heard a lot about the potential side effects, and I'm curious to know if anyone here has any experience with it. How much did it help? What about the side effects? I'm trying to get a real picture of what this drug is like for a person.

Be prepared for the worst and hope for the best. Make sure you have a good support system in place. It's not just about the physical side effects, but also the emotional toll it can take.

My husband has been taking Nilandron and has had some really bad hot flashes. He sweats so much that he has to change his clothes multiple times a day. It's hard to see him go through this, but we know it's fighting the cancer.

This is really useful, thanks for sharing this. Side effect experience is really individual. I have been taking this drug for a year, and so far, I'm doing well. It's made my joints a bit sore, but I've managed my diet and lifestyle well so I'm not too worried. If you are experiencing nausea or vomiting, consider taking it with a snack like crackers, toast or some yogurt. Never take it on an empty stomach.

I had to stop taking Nilandron because of the depression side effects. It's hard to say if it was the drug or the cancer, but it was a real struggle. If you feel any changes in your mood, tell your doctor right away.

This is the drug I took after my surgery for prostate cancer. It helped in stopping the cancer from spreading and growth. I would have a headache and feel dizziness once in a while. It's hard but manageable. Don't forget to take care of the liver as well.

I switched from taking the tablets to injections and it's made a huge difference in my daily life. The injections are easier to manage and I haven’t had as many side effects lately. I have had to have a few blood tests done to check what the drug is doing to my liver. It gives me a bit of anxiety but the doctors are just being thorough. I would recommend it to others with prostate cancer.

It's important to stay in close contact with your doctor while taking Nilandron. Regular check-ups can help monitor your liver function and catch any serious side effects early. Don't skip any appointments.

I've been on Nilandron for about 6 months now and it's been tough. The hot flashes are terrible, and I've had some pretty bad insomnia. But it's worth it if it's helping to fight the cancer.
