Has anyone received Ceftriaxone 2gm Inj for pneumonia? How was your experience?
I was recently prescribed Ceftriaxone 2gm Inj for pneumonia and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. I've heard it can be really effective, but also that it has some serious side effects. Has anyone here had experience with this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. What should I expect from the injection process and the side effects? Did you have any severe reactions or just mild discomfort? Any tips for managing the possible side effects would be really appreciated! I want to make sure I'm prepared for anything that comes up.

I had Ceftriaxone for a skin infection and it worked great. No major side effects, just a bit of dizziness. But I've heard horror stories from others, so YMMV.
Ceftriaxone is no joke. I had a kidney stone and it was brutal. I had to go to the ER for pain management. It sucked, but I'm glad I got it under control.
Ceftriaxone saved my life when I had meningitis. It's serious stuff, but it's effective. Just be prepared for some fatigue and maybe some weird dreams. Oh, and your poop might get weird. But hey, that's antibiotics for you, lol!
I had Ceftriaxone for an infection and I got really bad diarrhea. Like, couldn't leave the house bad. It sucked, but it went away after I finished the course.
I've never had Ceftriaxone, but I've heard it can mess with your kidneys. Make sure to drink plenty of water and monitor your urine output. Better safe than sorry!
I've administered Ceftriaxone injections and it can sting a bit. You could try applying some ice before the injection to numb the area. As for side effects, everyone is different. Just keep an eye out for anything unusual.
