I've been trying to quit smoking for a while now, and I've recently started using Nicotine 2mg Original Gum 20s. I was just wondering if anyone else has had success with this product? Also, what were your experiences with the side effects? The list of possible side effects is quite long, and it's a bit intimidating. I've heard some people say that the gum can cause headaches, and I'm a bit worried about that. Any tips on how to manage any side effects that might come up? I'm curious to know if the gum has helped others reduce their urge to smoke and how long they had to use the gum before they were able to quit completely. Thanks in advance for any advice and experiences you can share!

I tried it but it didn't work for me. I think the constant chewing was too much of a habit to break. Maybe I just needed more willpower, dunno. What brand of gum do you have?

I got a headache and started drooling. I'm just going to try patches next.

A friend of mine just tried to chew it like regular gum and ended up getting sick. Make sure you chew it slowly and follow the instructions. It’s not just candy!

I was nervous about the side effects too. But for me, the only thing I noticed was a little bit of mouth irritation. It was nothing compared to the withdrawals I was feeling from not smoking. Stick with it and give it a real shot. Good luck!

I used this gum a few years back and it really helped me quit. The headaches were annoying but manageable. I just made sure to drink plenty of water and take breaks from chewing the gum. It took me about 3 months to feel confident that I wouldn't relapse, and I never looked back.

Have you tried the 4mg version? It might be more effective for you if the 2mg isn't doing the trick. Just be consistent and don't give up too soon! Quitting smoking is hard, but you can do it!

I started out with the 2mg gum. I did see some side effects like nausea, but I managed to quit after 5 months. I have a friend who struggled to quit with the 4mg version. It varies from person to person, so don’t be discouraged if the 2mg gum doesn’t work immediately. The key for me was combining it with a support group. Don’t hesitate to try different methods if one isn’t working. Good luck!
