I've recently been diagnosed with acromegaly and my doctor has prescribed Mycapssa 20mg Capsules to manage my symptoms. I had a really bad reaction to Mycapssa. I ended up in the ER with severe stomach pain and back pain. Turns out it was pancreatitis. Stick close to medical help during the first few weeks.
I was on Mycapssa for a couple of years. It really helped control my growth hormone levels, but I did experience some side effects. The most irritating was the constant cold-like symptoms. My doctor advised me to stay hydrated and use over-the-counter remedies like saline nasal sprays.
I'm currently taking it and it's been okay so far. I just make sure to take it with food to avoid any stomach issues. But yeah, keep an eye out for any signs of gallbladder problems.
This medication is powerful, but it's a trade-off. Make sure you monitor your blood sugar levels regularly. I had some issues with high blood sugar and it took a while to stabilize it.
I quit after 3 weeks, too many side effects for me. My doctor switched me to a different medication and it's really helping. I hope your experience is better!
