Has anyone switched from Velivet Tablets 28 to another birth control and regretted it?
I've been on Velivet Tablets 28 for a few months now, and while it's been mostly fine, I've been experiencing some mood swings and occasional headaches. I'm noticing some of the same side effects listed here. I'm considering switching to a different brand of birth control, but I'm hesitant because I don't want to deal with the hassle of new side effects. Has anyone switched from Velivet and regretted it? Or found something better? I'd love to hear your experiences.

I personally haven't had any issues with Velivet, but my friend switched because she kept spotting between periods. She tried Lo Loestrin and it was a lot better for her, so definitely worth talking to your doctor!
I feel like everyone is so quick to switch brands, but maybe we need to give our bodies time to adjust. I've been on Velivet for 6 months and I'm finally starting to feel more normal. Don't rush to switch, give your body a chance i think.
I switched to the copper IUD and it's been amazing. No hormones, so no more side effects. But insertion was a bit painful. Definitely something to consider if you're open to non-hormonal birth control.
I've been on Velivet for years and haven't had any major issues. I've had some mild headaches, but nothing that's been a dealbreaker. I think it's different for everyone. I've heard good things about Yaz though.
Has anyone else had weird side effects that just won't go away? I'm on my 5th brand and I still get hives and itching.
