I never had any serious side effects, just some mild headaches and upset stomach. But I did find that taking it with food helped a lot with the stomach issues.
Just a quick question - how long did it take for most of you to see results from taking this medication?
This thread is really helpful. I was prescribed this medication but I am really scared of the side effects listed in the medication. It's easier knowing that other people have gone through this and came out okay.
I took this after a surgery and it worked great for stopping the bleeding, but I had some muscle pain and weakness. It was pretty unpleasant, especially since I couldn't really tell if it was just post-surgery soreness or a side effect. I contacted my doctor who reassured me and made sure nothing serious was going on.
I had some weird vision changes that freaked me out. It went away as soon as I stopped the medication, but it was scary at the time.
I had some trouble with breathing and chest tightness. I thought it was just anxiety, but then I started to get this weird tingling in my arms. After a quick trip to the hospital, it turned out to be a blood clot. Scary stuff. I am doing better now but it was a good scare.
