I was recently prescribed Amlodipine/olmes Medoxom10-20mg T for high blood pressure. My doctor says it's a combination of two drugs: Amlodipine helps relax blood vessels, and olmesartan blocks a natural substance that narrows blood vessels. Together, they help lower blood pressure, reducing the risk of heart attack and stroke. I've read the potential side effects, but I'd love to hear from others who have taken this medication. What was your experience like? Did you encounter any of the side effects? One of the effects, a potential kidney problem, worried me the most. Any tips or advice from those who have taken it? I want to be prepared and know what to expect.

It really helped my BP. I didn’t have any severe side effects, just a bit of flushing.

I've been on this for a few months now. It's been great for my blood pressure, but I did experience some dizziness at first. It went away after a week or so.

This is a common med, but the side effects are no joke. If you experience any sudden back pain, chest pain, or trouble breathing, get to a hospital immediately.

I had a pretty bad allergic reaction to this medication. I woke up with hives and had to go to the ER. It was scary, but I'm okay now. If you notice any skin issues, go to the doctor right away.

I have a friend who had to stop taking it because of kidney problems. It's rare, but it does happen. He switched to a different med and is doing better. Just something to keep in mind.
