Has anyone taken Amnesteem 20mg Capsules for severe acne? What was your experience like?

Be prepared for the mood swings. I felt like a crazy person for the first few months. But my skin got so much better that it was worth it. Plus, my doctor said the mood stuff should go away after a few months and it did.
If you're considering this, make sure you use birth control religiously. The last thing you want is to get pregnant while on this stuff. Trust me, the side effects are bad enough.

I had to stop taking it because of stomach issues. It was horrible. I couldn't eat anything without feeling sick. My doctor switched me to another medication but honestly, if it didn't have such harsh side effects it would be a miracle drug.
I wish I could say it was worth it, but for me it wasn't. My skin got worse at first and I had a bunch of other side effects. I ended up quitting after 2 months. I'm hoping my skin clears up on its own.

I took Amnesteem for a year and it completely cleared my skin. The side effects were tough at first—I had really dry skin and chapped lips. But I used lots of moisturizer and lip balm and it got better. Definitely worth it for me!
