Has anyone taken Claravis 20mg Capsules for severe acne? What was your experience with side effects?
I've been prescribed Claravis 20mg Capsules for severe acne that hasn't responded to other treatments. I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones like birth defects, mood changes, and liver problems. Has anyone else taken this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Were the side effects as severe as they seem, or were they more manageable? Any tips on how to cope with them would be greatly appreciated! Also, how long did it take for you to see improvements in your skin?

I had a really tough time with Claravis. The side effects were brutal—constant joint pain and severe dryness. Plus, I had some scary mood swings. I stuck it out for 6 months, but my doctor ultimately took me off it. Acne came back but at least I’m feeling better now.
I was really scared of the side effects, but they weren't as bad as I thought. Dry skin and lips were annoying, but nothing I couldn't handle. It took about 4 months to see a big improvement in my acne. Stick with it if you can!
Claravis worked for me but I had some bad mood swings. My skin is so much better. It’s a tough journey. But it’s worth it. Stick with it if you can.
Side effects were rough, but my skin is so much better. I used a lot of moisturizer and drink tons of water. I felt weak at times but took a break every now and then. Just do what your doc says and you’ll be fine. Just try to think about the end result.
I took Claravis for a year and it completely cleared up my acne. The side effects were tough at first—a lot of dry skin and chapped lips—but they were manageable with moisturizer and lip balm. The worst part was the mood swings, but my doctor monitored me closely. Definitely worth it in the end!
