I've been prescribed Cyproheptadine 4mg Tablets to help with my allergies and to increase my appetite, as I've been struggling with both lately. This medication is an antihistamine that works by blocking histamine and serotonin in the body. The doctor mentioned it could help with both my allergy symptoms and my appetite.

I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects, though. The list is quite long, and some of them sound pretty serious. I've read about everything from dizziness and drowsiness to more severe issues like seizures and hallucinations. I'm hoping to hear from people who have taken this medication and can share their experiences.

How did it work for you? Did you experience any of the side effects? Were they mild or severe? Any tips on managing them would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I'm curious about how long it took for the medication to start working for your allergies and appetite.

I want to be well-informed before I start taking it, so any insights or advice would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

I took this for my allergies, and while it helped, I felt like I was walking around in a daze all day because of the drowsiness. It was horrible.

I've been on Cyproheptadine for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for my allergies. My sneezing and itchy eyes are much better. As for the appetite, it definitely picked up, but I had to watch my diet or I would gain weight quickly. Just be mindful of that aspect.

I was prescribed Cyproheptadine for a similar reason and the side effects were surprisingly mild. I felt a bit drowsy at first, but it wore off after a couple of weeks. The best part was how it increased the appetite! I had been having trouble eating properly for months, and it helped me get back to a healthy diet plan. The allergic symptoms went away completely. It was nice to not worry about itching, sneezing, or runny nose.

Be careful with the dosage. I had a friend who started off strong and ended with a severe rash. Try the minimum dosage first before increasing.

I was on Cyproheptadine and gained a lot of weight. I had to quit as I couldn't control my appetite.

I had a bad reaction to Cyproheptadine. I started experiencing some weird sensations and changes in vision. I went to the doctor and they took me off it immediately. I'm glad I listened to my body and went to seek help.

I was on this medication for a month but had to stop because of some terrifying side effects. I was hallucinating and having severe mood swings. I tried reading up on this and realized that it wasn't just mild drowsiness but serious side effects.

I've had a good experience with Cyproheptadine. It really helped with my allergies and gave me a boost in energy. I didn't experience any major side effects, but I did feel a bit dizzy at times.

I took this for a while and it helped with my allergies but the drowsiness was awful. I felt like I was walking around in a haze all day. I had to stop taking it because it was affecting my work.
