I've been prescribed Dapsone 25mg Tablets for dermatitis herpetiformis. Has anyone else taken this medication for leprosy or skin conditions? I'm curious about your experiences, especially regarding side effects and how you managed them. The possible side effects list is quite long and some seem serious. How did you cope with the regular blood tests? Did you experience any of the urgent side effects like liver problems, skin reactions, or blood issues? And how did you deal with the more common side effects like upset stomach or dizziness? Any tips for managing this medication would be greatly appreciated! I am a bit worried about the warnings of blood problems and skin reactions but I have no choice but to take it because of my skin condition. What are the warning signs that I should watch out for? How will I know if I'm having a severe reaction?

I started taking Dapsone 25mg Tablets last month for leprosy — it's been okay so far. I do feel a bit dizzy sometimes, but nothing unbearable. I take it with food and that helps a lot. The blood tests are a bit annoying, but necessary I guess. My doctor said the main things to watch out for are signs of infection and skin reactions. I'll make sure to keep an eye out for those and report anything unusual. So far I don't have any major worries.

I’m on my second week of Dapsone. So far, so good. No side effects yet, but I'm keeping a close eye on things. I'm a bit anxious about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones. I’ll keep you all updated if anything comes up

Does anyone know if Dapsone can cause mood changes? I've been feeling a bit off lately and I'm not sure if it's the medication or just stress.

I've been on Dapsone for a while now for dermatitis herpetiformis. The side effects can be tough, especially in the beginning but I've managed them by taking it with food and staying hydrated. I haven't had any of the serious side effects but I get regular blood tests every 2 months and stay in touch with my doctor. I was really worried at first but my doctor assured me that the side effects are mostly manageable. The most common ones are upset stomach and dizziness but there are ways to mitigate those. The doctor also suggested I watch out for any signs of infection or unusual bruising, which are signs of more serious problems. My advice: stay in close contact with your healthcare provider and get all the tests done on time. It's scary at first but if you stay vigilant, it's manageable.

I read a lot about Dapsone. It can cause a rapid heartbeat
