I've been prescribed Hydrocodone 15mg ER Capsules for severe, long-lasting pain that hasn't responded to other treatments. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the more serious ones like allergic reactions or serotonin syndrome. I've heard some horror stories, but also some positive experiences. Has anyone here taken these? What was your experience like? Did you have any of the common side effects like drowsiness or constipation? How did you manage them? And how effective was the medication for your pain management? I'd love to hear any tips or advice you might have.

Be super careful with these. I had a friend who ended up in the hospital with serotonin syndrome after combining them with another med. Always double-check with your pharmacist before mixing with anything else.

I had to stop taking them because of severe dizziness. It was like walking on a boat—not fun. But for some people, it might be worth it. Just be cautious and listen to your body.

I've been on Hydrocodone 15mg ER for about a year now. It's been a game-changer for my chronic pain, but I've had to be really careful with my diet and stay hydrated to avoid the stomach issues. Also, make sure to avoid alcohol completely as it can cause serious complications. Definitely talk to your doctor about all possible side effects and be vigilant about anything unusual.

I took these for a few months after a back injury. They were great for pain management, but the constipation was brutal. Make sure to take stool softeners if you go this route.

I switched to these from a different opioid and the difference was night and day. The extended-release formula means I don't have to take pills as often, which is a huge plus. Just be prepared for some drowsiness at first—it took me a week to adjust. But if you're worried about addiction, talk to your doctor about tapering off when you no longer need it.

Anyone else feel like a zombie on these? I had to stop driving because I was too drowsy. But the pain relief was worth it for me.

Hydrocodone saved my life after a car accident. The pain was unbearable, and nothing else worked. Just make sure to follow your doctor's instructions to the letter. I wish more people understood the importance of that.

I had no idea these could cause low sex hormone levels. That's scary stuff. Just another reason to be super careful with opioids.
