I was diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia a few months back and my doctor prescribed me Iron-Vitamin C 100mg-250mg Tablets. I've started taking them, but I'm curious to hear from others who have been through this. How long did it take for you to see improvements in your energy levels? Did you experience any side effects, and if so, how did you deal with them? I've heard that constipation and stomach pain are common, but I'm hoping that won't happen to me. Also, any tips on taking this medication with food to minimize side effects would be appreciated. Thank you!

Take them with citrus juice for better absorption. I always mixed mine with some orange juice and it helped a lot.

I was worried about the side effects, but my doctor assured me they are rare and manageable. Just keep an eye on any changes in your body and report them. I haven't had any issues yet.

I had a really bad reaction to these tablets. I started getting hives and my throat felt tight. I had to stop taking them and see my doctor. Turns out I was allergic to one of the ingredients. If you experience any severe symptoms, go to the ER right away.

I didn't have any issues with these tablets. My doctor told me to take them with a meal and I did that religiously, and no problems at all!
