Has anyone taken Prempro 0.625mg/2.5mg for hot flashes and osteoporosis? What was your experience?
I've been offered a prescription for Prempro for hot flashes and osteoporosis. As a woman going through menopause, I'm really struggling with these symptoms. My sister took this and she had no problems at all. She said it was a miracle drug for her. I think you should at least give it a try, but make sure to watch out for any red flags.
I'm so glad I found this thread. My doc just prescribed it to me. I was going to wait, but now I'm wondering if I should look for other options.

My mom took this and it was awful. She had a lot of bloat and gained a lot of weight. She also had problems with her heart. I'm sorry to be blunt, but you should really look into alternative options. It's not worth the risk.

I had a bad experience with Prempro. I started feeling really tired and weak, and I had some pretty severe headaches. Worse, I lost a lot of hair. It was terrifying. I had to stop taking it and my doctor put me on something else. Be careful, and definitely talk to your doctor about any side effects.
