Give it a shot, but definitely talk to your doctor about everything. What helped me was to be really proactive about my health and keep in constant communication with my psychiatrist about anything that came up. Be very careful with this med. I had a severe allergic reaction and ended up in the ER. Thankfully, my doctor switched me to something else quickly.
