I've been prescribed Ropinirole ER 6mg tablets for my restless legs syndrome, and I'm feeling a bit nervous about the potential side effects. I know it can help with dopamine levels, but I've also read about some serious side effects, like allergic reactions and sudden sleepiness. I'm curious to hear from others who have taken this medication. What were your experiences? Did you have any of the more serious side effects or just the more common ones like dizziness or nausea? Were the side effects manageable? Also, how long did it take for the medication to start working? Any tips on how to handle the side effects effectively? I'd really appreciate any insights or advice.

Did anyone else experience sudden sleepiness? I fell asleep at my desk at work one day, without any warning.

I'm on Ropinirole for Parkinson's and it's been a lifesaver. I had some hallucinations at first, but my doctor adjusted my dose and they went away. I wish I had known about the potential for hallucinations, so I could have been prepared for it.

I've been on Ropinirole for a couple of months now and it's been great for my restless legs. I had some initial sleepiness, but that went away after a few weeks. I had some dizziness but it wasn't too bad. I would say the most difficult side effect was dizziness, but I managed it by getting up slowly from sitting or lying down.

I've been taking Ropinirole for Parkinson's and it's helped a lot with my movement, but I've had some weird side effects. I started having uncontrollable urges to gamble, which was really scary and caused a lot of problems. I never had any gambling issues before this. I had to talk to my doctor about it, and we had to adjust my dose. I wish I had known about this side effect before I started taking it.

I had a similar experience with sudden sleepiness. I ended up falling asleep while driving once, which was terrifying. I had to stop taking it because it just wasn't safe for me to keep taking it.

I've been on Ropinirole for a while now, and I think it's helped with my Parkinson's. My movements are much smoother, and I'm not as stiff as I used to be. I wish I had known about the potential for hallucinations, but my doctor was able to adjust my dose and they went away.

I had a bad reaction to Ropinirole. I ended up in the hospital with a rash and swelling all over my body. I had to stop taking it immediately. I'm so glad I went to the hospital when I did, because it could have been much worse.

I've been on Ropinirole for a couple of months now for my RLS, and it's been a game-changer. I had some initial sleepiness, but that went away after a few weeks. I had some dizziness but it wasn't too bad. I would say the most difficult side effect was dizziness, but I managed it by getting up slowly from sitting or lying down. I just wanted to mention that there is a bit of a learning curve with this medication, so don't be discouraged if it takes a little while to find the right dose and routine for you.
