Has anyone taken the Uretron D-S Tablets for UTI relief and experienced side effects?
I've recently been prescribed Uretron D-S Tablets to help with my urinary tract irritation symptoms and to fight the infection. I took my first dose yesterday and have been experiencing some mild side effects, none of the serious ones listed, but I'm curious to know if anyone else has had similar experiences. The medication contains several ingredients, including an antiseptic to fight bacteria, an acidifier to enhance the antiseptic's effectiveness, a mild pain reliever, and an ingredient to relax the bladder muscles. I guess finding out about the side effects can help me prepare for what to expect with this medication. Has anyone else taken them and had an experience to share? Thanks! If you’ve had a serious reaction to Uretron D-S, please describe what happened. I'm learning about the severe and potentially life-threatening side effects. Essentially I want to know more about the side effects and how you coped with them. If anyone has found alternative methods to handle what are essentially urinary tract infection symptoms, I would like to know about those too. Thanks everyone!

I took Uretron D-S for my UTI last month and had some side effects like a dry mouth and feeling sleepy, but nothing too severe. It worked well to combat the pain and burning sensations, though. Just make sure to stay hydrated and take the pills with food to avoid an upset stomach.
I had to stop taking Uretron D-S because I started wheezing and felt like my throat was closing up. It was terrifying! I had to go to the ER, but I'm fine now. Just be cautious and listen to your body — if something feels off, it probably is.
I didn’t take these, but I had a friend who did and they complained about feeling really sleepy all the time. I think it's possible to take the pills when you can rest for a while. Better safe than sorry. I'd just be careful.
I had a bad reaction to Uretron D-S. I got really dizzy and my vision was blurry. I had to stop taking it and go to the doctor. Don't ignore those serious side effects.
I don't think I'd want to take anything that messes with my vision, that sounds scary. I've heard cranberry juice can help with UTIs, but I'm not sure how effective it is. Can anyone vouch for it or for some other kind of hydrotherapy?
I didn't have any side effects, but I did notice my urine turned blue! The doctor said it was normal, but it was still weird. I found a slightly more natural approach to dealing with bladder inflammation and the discomfort it causes. You might want to consult your doctor about it.
