I've been prescribed Urogesic Blue tablets for a urinary tract infection and I'm a bit concerned. I've read that it can turn your urine blue or green, which is pretty wild. Has anyone else taken this medication? Did you experience any other side effects? I'm mostly worried about the serious ones like allergic reactions or trouble passing urine. Any insights or personal experiences would be really helpful!

I'm glad this article mentions that you can report side effects to the FDA. That's an important step that a lot of people don't know about. It's always good to do your part in helping others.

OMG I remember taking this back in college. The blue urine was so weird, but it worked fast.

I had a bad reaction to the tablets, had to switch to the liquid version. Make sure to check with your doctor if you have trouble passing urine.

Be careful with this one, especially if you have a history of allergic reactions. The side effects can be serious, so keep an eye out for any unusual symptoms. Reporting side effects at least helps other people in the long run, so if you know the docs, maybe let them know too.

I took these and the change in urine color was the worst part, but it did help with the UTI. The dry mouth was annoying, but managing my expectations helped.

Don't forget, the blue urine is normal and nothing to worry about. Just drink lots of water and monitor your symptoms. If you have any concerns, your doctor can tell you if you should stop taking the medication.
