I've recently been prescribed Amlodipine/olmesartan medoxomil 10-20mg T for my hypertension. I've read about the potential side effects but would love to hear from others who have taken this combination. How effective has it been for you in lowering your blood pressure? Have you experienced any of the severe side effects like allergic reactions, kidney problems, or high potassium levels? What about more minor side effects like dizziness and headaches? Any tips on managing these would be greatly appreciated. I've heard that flushing can be a bit embarrassing, so any insights on that would be helpful too. Looking forward to hearing your experiences!

I've been on this for a while and it is the best thing I've taken for my high blood pressure. No side effects for me.

I've had awful diarrhea for the last few weeks. It's so annoying — I can't take it anymore.

This drug works great for me. I take it as a two-pill combination once in the morning. Check with your doctor, but I think the morning is a good time. Check with your doctor. My doctor told me it can cause dizziness, so he told me to keep a log of my blood pressure. His advice was great. If you lean towards the dizzy, keep the log. It can help you and your doctor adjust to where you need to be.

I tried this and it made me feel so bad. My blood pressure was up and down — so I went to the emergency room. I thought I was having a stroke.

I tried this one for a few weeks and hated it. The headaches were terrible, and I couldn't focus on work. Switched to lisinopril, feels like a million bucks better.

My BP was always elevated, so I got this drug. I'm taking it now, and my BP is normal. Not really sure what else to say. Good luck!

I've been on this medication for about a year now, and I've had no major issues. It works well for me, but I do get a bit embarrassed by the flushing. The main problem I have is that I feel a bit dizzy when I stand up. This has me a bit worried. Has anyone else had this problem? Is this normal? I've emailed the doctor's office, but they're not the best at responding.
