I've been struggling with very dry, rough, and scaly skin for a while now. My dermatologist recommended Ammonium Lac 12% Lotion, which contains lactic acid, to help soften and moisturize my skin. The description says it helps the skin hold onto water and gently removes dead skin cells. Has anyone else used this lotion? I want to know if it works well and if it's worth the effort. Also, I've read that it can cause burning or stinging sensations. Should I be worried if it tingly when I apply it? Finally, can anyone share their experience with possible side effects, especially rashes? I want to be prepared and know what to look out for. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Be cautious, it made my skin red and blotchy. I had to stop using it.

I've had no issues. The burning sensation stopped after a few days.

I've seen some success with it, but it's not a miracle cure. Be patient.

I had a rash and itchy skin. Not worth it for me.

Don't forget to moisturize after applying it. It helps with the irritation.

I love this lotion! It's a lifesaver for my rough heels and elbows. I did have a burning sensation at first, but it went away after a week.

The tingling is normal at first, but if it gets worse, stop using it. Better safe than sorry.

I've used it and it works great for me. Just be careful with the application, it can be a bit irritating at first.

My skin is doing great now. I wish I had started using it earlier.

I haven't had any issues with it. It's been really helpful for my dry patches.
