Has anyone tried Ammonium Lac 12% Lotion for extremely dry skin? Share your experiences!
I've been struggling with extremely dry and scaly skin on my elbows and knees for months now. My doctor recommended Ammonium Lac 12% Lotion, saying it's great for exfoliating dead skin cells and moisturizing.Has anyone used it before? I'm a bit hesitant because of the potential side effects, especially the serious ones. How long did it take to see results? Did you experience any irritation or other issues? Thanks in advance for any insights!

I had a bad reaction to this stuff. My skin turned bright red and started peeling. Definitely not for everyone. Maybe try a patch test first.
I gave it a shot and it was okay. Nothing spectacular, but it did the job. Just watch for those side effects, they're no joke.
It helped me but took about a month to see noticeable results. I had a bit of stinging at first, but that stopped after a week. Stick with it if you can tolerate the initial irritation.
I think it's great for rough patches, but not for everyday use. It's strong stuff, so use it sparingly.
