Hi everyone, I've been struggling with extremely dry, itchy skin, especially in the winter. I've come across Avo Cream Topical Emulsion and I am considering giving it a try. It's supposed to create a protective barrier to lock in moisture. Has anyone here used it? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. I'm particularly interested in knowing if it's helped with skin irritation and if there were any side effects. Also, does anyone know if it's suitable for sensitive skin or if it's better to stick with something simpler like plain old petroleum jelly? Any insights would be appreciated! Also, it's important to remember that while Avo Cream is generally well-tolerated, it can cause severe allergic reactions in rare cases, so it's crucial to be aware of the signs and seek medical help immediately if necessary. I've read the list of side effects, but I'm curious if anyone has actually experienced any of them. thanks!

I used it on my baby for her cradle cap and it helped so much! Except now she just has a bunch of baby creams in her cabinet.

I tried it once and broke out in hives. I'd be cautious, especially with the possibility of allergic reactions.

I think it's worth a go. I had dry patches on my arms and elbows, and while it took a while, it started to clear up after a few weeks.

Be careful with the heat, swelling, and redness signs. I had a bad reaction to a different cream once, and I wish I had paid more attention to those symptoms earlier.
