I've recently been prescribed Bimzelx 160mg/ml for my severe plaque psoriasis. It's supposed to block IL-17A and IL-17F to reduce inflammation and improve skin symptoms. Has anyone else tried this? What were your experiences like? I'm particularly concerned about the potential side effects, especially the possibility of severe allergic reactions or infections. I want to be prepared for what to expect. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've been on it for a year and haven't had any major side effects. Just some common cold symptoms and occasional headaches, which aren't too bad compared to the psoriasis symptoms I had before.

I switched to Bimzelx from another biologic and it's been fantastic. The injection site can be a bit sore, but it's a small price to pay for clear skin. Just be sure to follow the instructions carefully to avoid infections. Always wash your hands and use a new syringe for each injection.

I’ve heard some people say it helped their psoriasis but made them exhausted. Personally, I just felt a bit fatigued, not exhausted. Might be worth mentioning to your doctor if it's a concern.

I had a really bad experience with Bimzelx. I developed a severe rash and ended up in the ER. Turns out it was an allergic reaction. I'm staying away from this drug for good. If you notice any signs of an allergic reaction, don't wait—go to the hospital.

Just a heads-up, I had some pretty severe stomach issues when I started Bimzelx. It turned out to be inflammatory bowel disease, which is listed as a potential side effect. Make sure to watch out for diarrhea and pain.
