I've recently been diagnosed with Factor XIII deficiency, and my doctor recommended Corifact 1000-1600 IU Inj Kit to help with my blood clotting issues. I've heard mixed reviews about it, so I'm curious to know if anyone has any experience with this medication. What were your experiences with the side effects? Did it help with your condition? Any tips for managing the injections?

Also, I noticed that there are some serious side effects listed. Has anyone experienced any of these or know someone who has? I'm a bit nervous about starting this treatment.

You can also order and inject Corifact yourself at home, just like insulin. The needles they provide are super thin, and it's a very comfortable and painless injection.

I've been on Corifact for five years now. I started at 1000 IU, now 1600 IU. It actually prevents infections and it’s easier on the body than others I've tried.

This won't affect your quality of life if you take it properly and safely, definitely consider it. You can read more about the side effects in the product manuals

I had to have emergency treatment when I started using Corifact. I experienced severe chest pain and swelling and worrying the FDA drug safety people.

I had a bad experience with it personally. I had to switch to another medication because the headaches were unbearable. But everyone's different, so it might work for you. Plus my doctor said that the side effects are rare Overall it was a positive experience though

I get mine at a clinic. They handle all of it. It's been a relief to have someone else handle the actual injection. It is helpful to have a nurse check to make sure everything is done properly. They also check your blood clotting factor levels.

Be careful about the serious side effects, they can happen.

I've been on Corifact for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for me. My bleeding issues have significantly improved, and I haven't experienced any serious side effects so far. Just some minor headaches and irritation at the injection site, which is manageable.
