I've been prescribed Cutivate 0.05% Cream for my eczema and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. The doctor mentioned it's a strong medication that works by calming down the body's immune response in the skin, but the list of possible side effects is quite long. Has anyone else used this cream? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. How effective was it for you? Did you encounter any of the serious side effects like allergic reactions or high blood sugar? And if so, how did you manage them? Any tips or words of caution would be greatly appreciated!

I've had to take a break from Cutivate because I was getting a lot of stretch marks. My doctor suggested applying it less frequently. So I follow up with a good moisturizer every other day and it's been better since.

I've been using Cutivate for about a month now and it's been a game-changer. My eczema has calmed down significantly, but I did have a weird rash. Not sure if it was related, but definitely worth mentioning to your doctor. Also, make sure to apply a thin layer as directed. I made the mistake of putting on too much and it got worse, but my doctor told me to calm down the dosage and it worked. Just be patient and diligent.

I had to stop using Cutivate because it made my skin super thin and fragile. It was scary, I literally cried from the pain. Just be aware of the risks and keep an eye out for any weird symptoms.

I had a friend who used Cutivate and ended up with Cushing's syndrome. It was scary and it took a while for her to recover.

Be careful with this stuff. I had a friend who ended up with a severe skin infection after using it. Make sure to watch for any signs of infection.

It's important to remember that everyone's skin reacts differently to medications. What works for one person might not work for another. Always consult your doctor if you have any concerns.
