I've been struggling with severe dandruff for months and recently came across Dhs Zinc 2% Shampoo. It's a pyrithione zinc shampoo that's supposed to control the growth of yeast on the scalp, which can cause flaking and itching. I'm curious to hear from anyone who has tried it, especially those who have had issues with dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. What has your experience been? Did you find it effective? Did you have any side effects? I'm particularly interested in any urgent side effects that might require immediate medical attention. Thanks in advance for sharing your stories and advice!

I’m going to give this a shot. Hopefully, it works for me. Thanks for sharing your experiences, everyone!

This might be a bit of a silly question, but can you use regular shampoo after using Dhs Zinc 2%? Or does that negate the effects?

I’m skeptical about all these shampoos. I tried a few and they all seem to work the same. I’ve read the side effects and they all seem scary. What do you guys think?

I’ve been using it for a week now and it’s been a game-changer. The itching and flaking have significantly reduced. I did experience some irritation at first, but it went away after a few uses.

It’s important to note that while some people have great results, others might experience severe side effects. I’ve heard of people having trouble breathing and swelling of the throat. If you experience any of these symptoms, seek medical help immediately. Always better to be safe.

Be careful, though. I had a really bad reaction to it. I got hives all over my scalp and had to rush to the ER. Turns out I was allergic to one of the ingredients. Definitely worth a try, but be cautious.
