I've been having trouble sleeping lately, and my doctor prescribed Doxepin 6mg Tablets. I've heard it's great for helping people stay asleep, but I'm a bit nervous about the side effects. Has anyone else tried this medication? What was your experience like? Did you have any side effects? I'd love to hear from anyone who's used it for insomnia specifically, not depression, as I've read mixed information on that point online. Thanks in advance!

I've been on Doxepin for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer. I wake up way less during the night, and I feel more rested. I did have some drowsiness during the day at first, but that went away after a couple of weeks. Never had any serious side effects.

I took this for a while and it worked great, but I had to stop because it made me gain a ton of weight. Like, 20 pounds in a couple of months. Don't know if it was the Doxepin or not, but it was pretty scary.

I’ve been using Doxepin 6mg for a while now, and honestly, it’s been a lifesaver. I used to wake up every couple of hours, but now I sleep straight through. The only side effect I had was a bit of dry mouth, but it’s totally manageable. I keep a glass of water by my bed, and that usually does the trick.

Has anyone else had issues with Doxepin and asthma? I have mild asthma and I'm nervous about taking it. My doctor said it should be fine, but I'd love to hear from someone who's been in the same boat.

I took Doxepin for a few weeks and it didn’t do anything for me. Maybe it just didn’t work for my body? I ended up switching to something else and it’s been much better for me.

I've had asthma for years and started using Doxepin 6mg for insomnia. I haven’t had any issues with my asthma worsening, but I did make sure to talk to my doctor about it first. Definitely worth checking with your doc just to be safe!
