Has anyone tried Iodosorb 0.9% Gel for wound care? Share your experiences!
I've been prescribed Iodosorb 0.9% Gel for a persistent wound, and I'm curious to know if anyone else has used it. The description says it releases iodine to kill germs and absorbs excess fluid, which sounds great, but I'm a bit worried about the possible side effects, especially the allergic reactions. Has anyone had any issues with severe reactions or other problems? I'd love to hear your experiences and any tips you might have!

I had a severe reaction to it when I used it in a deep cut. Call the doctor as soon as you notice any kind of rash.
I used it once and my skin turned bright red and hurt. I'd rather use plain iodine.
My mom is a nurse and she says Iodosorb is great for chronic wounds like diabetic ulcers.
I heard it can stain clothes and sheets, so be careful when using it.
