I've recently been prescribed Isosorbide Mononitrate 10mg Tabs to manage my angina. I've read that it works by widening blood vessels to help blood flow more easily to the heart, but I'm curious to hear from others who've taken this medication. Have you experienced any side effects, and if so, how did you manage them? I'm particularly interested in knowing about any long-term effects or how quickly people noticed improvements. Thanks!

Dude, my dad was on this and he felt like he was constantly on the verge of passing out. It was awful. Good luck to anyone taking it.

I've been on Isosorbide Mononitrate for a year now. I noticed a significant reduction in angina attacks within the first month. The headaches were annoying at first, but they subsided after a few weeks. Just make sure to stay hydrated and listen to your body. If you feel any severe side effects, don't hesitate to contact your doctor.

My mom has been taking this for years, she swears by it. She says it's a lifesaver.

I’ve had a pretty good experience with Isosorbide Mononitrate. The initial headaches were rough, but they went away after a few weeks. The biggest thing is to stay on top of your doses and not miss any. I’ve seen firsthand what can happen when someone skips a dose.

I've found that taking Isosorbide Mononitrate regularly has helped me manage my angina better than taking nitroglycerin as needed. The side effects were manageable, and I didn't experience any severe issues. Just be patient and give your body time to adjust to the medication. Always consult your doctor if you have any concerns.

I started having mild chest pain, went to the ER and they gave me a couple of this pills to see if they helped. I felt like I was floating but no chest pain. I guess it worked?

I heard this med can cause a bad headache. Is it true?

How does this compare to Nitroglycerin? I've heard horror stories about it, but my doctor mentioned it as an alternative.

I've been on Isosorbide Mononitrate for a few months now, and honestly, it's been a game-changer. I had some dizziness at first, but it went away after a couple of weeks. My doctor advised that it was common when starting the medication. My angina attacks have significantly reduced. Just make sure to take it regularly and don't adjust your dosage without consulting your doctor.

Be careful with this med, I had an allergic reaction once. Had to go to the ER for hives and trouble breathing. Scary stuff.
