Just be very cautious with the allergic reactions. I had hives right away and had to rush to the ER.
I just started it and so far, my BP is under control. I had a bit of nausea, but nothing serious. Fingers crossed that it stays this way!
I had a bad experience with Lotensin. I developed a persistent cough that was really annoying, and the doctor said it was a side effect. I had to switch to something else.
Just make sure to keep an eye on your kidneys. My mom had some issues with urine output and had to switch to another medication.
I've been on it for a while and honestly, the side effects haven’t been that bad. A little dizziness here and there, but nothing major. I just keep an eye on my blood work to monitor potassium levels.
I switched to Lotensin after my doctor said it might help with my high blood pressure. I was really nervous about the persistent cough side effect, but it never happened. The dizziness was a bit of a bother at first, but it subsided after a couple of weeks. I did have to be careful with the diet because of the risk of high potassium levels. My doctor gave me a detailed list of foods to avoid, like bananas and spinach.
My friend was on Lotensin and had some pretty severe side effects, like stomach pain and severe nausea. Didn’t last long with the medication because of that.
I only had a slight headache when I started. It's worked really well for my BP without any major issues.
