I've been recently prescribed Lyrica CR 82.5mg Tablets for nerve pain from diabetes and I'm curious to hear from others. What has your experience been like? Did the medication help with the pain? How did you manage the side effects? I'm particularly concerned about the serious side effects and how often they occur. Any tips on taking this medication would be greatly appreciated!

I had a bad experience with Lyrica. It made me extremely drowsy and I had trouble focusing. I had to switch back to Gabapentin because it was interfering with my work and daily activities. Maybe the extended-release version has a smoother experience, but I wouldn’t risk it after my experience.

I’ve found that taking Lyrica with food helps with the stomach upset and constipation. Also, staying hydrated is key to avoiding a dry mouth. It took a while to find the right balance, but it’s been manageable.

Lyrical works well but watch out for the sleepiness. I have a friend who tried it and was so tired he had to stop driving his car. Also the weight gain was bad. Otherwise the pain relief was worth it.

I've been on Lyrica for a while now, and it's been a game-changer for my fibromyalgia pain. The side effects were tough at first—mainly dizziness and drowsiness—but they got better over time. Just be careful with driving and operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
