I've been struggling with severe allergies and a persistent runny nose. My doctor prescribed M-Dryl 12.5/5ml Liquid, an antihistamine, to help with my symptoms. I've heard it can cause some side effects, like dizziness and drowsiness, which might interfere with my work. Has anyone else tried this medication? How effective was it for you, and did you experience any side effects? I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences.

I have to be careful with these meds and look up any side effects. A few years ago, I had a bad reaction to a medication that was even weaker than this one. Just be sure to let your doctor know if you notice anything strange.

I've had some crazy side effects from antihistamines like this before, but I just read that the drug can cause changes in balance. It can't be a good combo when combined with the drowsiness everyone is experiencing. Can confirm this thing is not fun to take.

I usually avoid anything that leaves me drowsy during the day. The thick mucus in the throat was the worst part. I don't want to feel like I’m choking on my own mucus while hanging out with my friends.

Be careful with this one. It worked for me but my friend had a horrible reaction to the stuff. They ended up in the ER because they couldn’t breathe.

I've been taking M-Dryl for about a week now, and it's been a lifesaver for my allergies. Sure, it makes me a bit drowsy, but it's worth it to not have to deal with a stuffy nose and itchy eyes all day. Haven't had any other side effects yet, so hopefully, it stays that way.

I took this and got more nervous than anything else. My throat would get tight sometimes. I went back to my old allergy meds after that.

Anyone else can't stand the taste? It's horrendous but I still take it since nothing else works as well for my allergies.

I've used M-Dryl before for my allergies. It worked great for relieving symptoms, but I did feel really drowsy for a few hours afterward. Might want to take it before bed if you can.

This thread just reminded me that I need to restock my M-Dryl. It's been so helpful during allergy season. I take it as soon as I wake up and feel drowsy for a couple of hours. It's worth the trade-off so I can breathe through the day.
