I've been using Medpura Hydroseptine Ointment for the past week to treat some nasty insect bites I got on a hiking trip. The menthol in it provides a cooling sensation that really helps with the itching, and the zinc oxide seems to be helping the bites heal faster. I've also noticed that it creates a barrier that keeps the area clean and protected. However, I'm a bit concerned about the potential side effects, especially the allergic reactions. Has anyone else tried this ointment? How does it compare to other remedies like hydrocortisone cream or calamine lotion? I'd love to hear your experiences and thoughts on this product.

I've used it for years and never had any problems. It's my go-to for insect bites and rashes. Just make sure to follow the directions and not overuse it.

I've never had any issues with it, but I've heard mixed reviews. Some people swear by it, others say it's too harsh. I think it depends on your skin type and how severe the irritation is. Worth having on hand for hiking or camping trips though.

I think it's a good ointment for minor issues, but if you have sensitive skin, you might want to be cautious. Always do a skin test first, just to be safe.

I've never had any issues with it, but I've heard mixed reviews. It's really confusing. On one hand it sounds like it really works, but then there are these scary side effects. Was it worth it?
