I've been struggling with chronic dry mouth for a while now, and my doctor prescribed Mouthkote Solution. It's an artificial saliva that's supposed to help with moistening and lubricating the mouth, making it more comfortable to speak, eat, and swallow. I've seen the list of side effects, which can be a little scary—especially the urgent side effects like allergic reactions and changes in speech. Has anyone else used this? Did you experience any side effects? How did it work for you?

Just a heads up, some pharmacies might not carry it. Make sure you order enough in advance because you might feel crazy when you run out.

I'm really nervous about the changes in speech and taste side effects. Has anyone experienced those?

I switched to Mouthkote after Biotene, and I think I might be allergic to Biotene. Since I used Mouthkote, I've noticed a significant improvement in my dry mouth issues. Definitely recommend it.

I've been using Mouthkote for a while and i am so sick of it. I feel like it's not doing much since it's always a liquid. Sometimes it feels like i am always pouring more saliva in my mouth and it's gross. Doesn't really feel like it does much for me
