I've been dealing with persistent chest congestion for a while now, and my doctor recommended Mucus Relief DM Max 60mg-1200mg Tab. I'm curious to know if anyone else has tried this medication and how effective it has been for them. The description of the medicine provides a lot of information, but I'd love to hear from real people who have used it. Has anyone experienced more relief from the Dextromethorphan or the Guaifenesin in the medication? What were the side effects like?

I had a bad reaction to it. I woke up with a rash all over my body and had trouble breathing. Scared me, and I'm not using it again.

I found that the Guaifenesin part works better for me than the Dextromethorphan. It really helped thin out the mucus and made it easier to cough up. I used it for a few days and felt a lot better.

I think it's worth a try if you're suffering from chest congestion. My doctor also mentioned that it's important to stay hydrated while taking it, as it can cause dehydration. I found a few other comments about that in the thread too. The worst side effects were really bad headaches and lightheadedness, so I stopped taking it.

I thought Mucus Relief DM Max was the best thing for me. No side effects, and I was able to breathe much better within a couple of days. I also used a vaporizer to help clear my lungs, but this medicine was the real star of the show.

I've used it a few times and it works great for me. It really helps to loosen up the mucus and makes it easier to cough up. Just be careful with the dosage, especially if you're new to it.

I didn't like it. Gave me a weird taste in my mouth and I had a bad stomach ache. I think it was the Dextromethorphan in the medication. I tried taking less but it didn't work as well. I was worried about the symptoms of an allergic reaction but didn't have any of those.
