I started taking Nore/eth/fe Chewable Tablets a few months ago, and I'm curious to hear from others who have tried this. As someone who struggles with an iron deficiency, I was excited to find a birth control pill that also addresses that issue. I've been taking other birth control pills before, but none of them contained iron so I'm hoping this will help my anemia. So far, I've noticed some changes in my menstrual cycle, but I'm not sure if that's a positive or negative thing. I'm also wondering about the side effects. The list is quite long, and some of them are pretty scary. Has anyone experienced anything serious? I'd love to hear about your side effects, if you're comfortable sharing, and what your doctor said about them. Also, how do you find taking a chewable tablet rather than a traditional pill? Do you like it or is it a hassle? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I switched from the pill to an implant and kept using this med. This was the first time I tried a chewable pill for birth control, and I found it a bit strange at first. The taste is okay, but it can be a bit dry. I've heard that some people don't like the initial taste. Taking it with a meal definitely makes it easier. I also had no trouble so far, but I've been on it for months vs. years.

That's promising! I might give it a shot, since my anemia is getting worse.

I've been on Nore/eth/fe for about a year now, and I absolutely love it. I had really heavy periods and was always low on iron. This pill has been a game-changer. I haven't experienced any major side effects, just some minor issues like occasional headaches and spotting between periods. But those are manageable, and the benefits far outweigh the negatives. I chew the tablet like candy and have no issues, but some people might not like the taste. My doctor advised taking it with a meal to minimize any upset stomach.

I had some pretty dark patches on my face at first, but they went away after a few weeks. I've been using sunscreen religiously. The doc says it'll go away. It sucks but I'd rather deal with that than iron deficiency.

I wish I had known about this sooner. I've been using other birth control pills that mess with my iron levels. But since I've switched to this, I feel better. My energy levels are up, and I haven't had any major side effects. I did have a bit of spotting at first, but it went away. I've had issues with other chewables before, but this is great. As far as I know it comes in a strict dose so you can't split it but it wouldn't be worth it.

Got the usual list of side effects from my doctor, and the list was super long. I was really nervous at first. But I haven't had any major issues so far, only some mild headaches but that's it. Definitely worth the trade-off for better periods and less anemia.
