I've been struggling with house dust mite allergies for years, and my doctor recently prescribed Odactra Sub Tablets. I'm curious to hear from anyone who has tried this medication. How effective has it been for you? Have you experienced any of the side effects, especially the urgent ones like severe allergic reactions or trouble swallowing? I'm particularly interested in hearing about any long-term benefits or drawbacks. What advice would you give someone starting this treatment? Should I be doing additional treatments along with this? Any tips for managing side effects?

I had a bad reaction to Odactra. I developed hives and had trouble breathing. I had to go to the ER, and they told me to stop taking it immediately. It was scary, but at least I knew what was causing it.

I’ve been on Odactra for a few months and it’s been a breeze. No major side effects, and my allergies are way better. My cousin had the same problem but didn’t try Odactra — he bitches about his side effects every time I see him, he swears by his meds. I guess it’s really what works best for you.

Good luck with Odactra! I had a similar issue with dust mites and mine was super unmanageable — I couldn’t even sleep well at night. Had to get the furniture that was dust mite proof after I tried Odactra. The best thing I did was get an air purifier and seal the ductwork in my house (you can get aluminum tape or foam at the hardware store). This made a big difference! Hopefully your experience is better!

I had to stop Odactra because of severe throat pain. It was terrible, and I couldn't swallow anything without feeling like I was going to gag. Doctor advised to stop it immediately and take something else instead.

Anyone try taking this without consulting a doctor? My allergist mentioned this, but I've always been super skeptical of this type of treatment.

I've been on Odactra for about six months now. It's been a game-changer for my allergies. My sneezing and itchy eyes have significantly reduced. I did experience some mild side effects like throat irritation at the beginning, but they went away with time. Just make sure to take it exactly as prescribed and monitor any severe side effects closely.

I switched to Odactra after years of struggling with traditional allergy meds. The best part is that it's a sublingual tablet, so no more daily shots! However, I did have a bit of mouth irritation at first. I made sure to report all side effects to my doctor, and they helped me manage them. I'd say give it a shot but stay vigilant for any severe reactions.

Just started Odactra last week. So far, so good, but I'm nervous about the potential severe side effects. Any tips on what to watch out for?
