I've recently been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and my doctor has prescribed Orencia Clickjet 125mg/ml Inj, 1ml injections. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects and the idea of self-injecting. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I'd love to hear about your journey, any tips for managing side effects, or even just some encouragement. Thanks in advance!

I'm nervous about the injection part too. Any tips on making it less scary? I'm terrible with needles.

I've been on Orencia for about a year now and it's been a game-changer. The injections are easy once you get used to them, and the side effects were minimal for me.

Just started Orencia myself. The injections are scary at first but easier with time. It's not every user, but some people experience bad injection site reactions, if that happens to you, consider wearing a tight sleeves and ice the area before injecting.

Orencia was a lifesaver for me. I had tried a bunch of other medications with no luck. I was so sick that my doctor was going to recommend surgery to replace my joints, but I wanted to try this one more drug before going that route. I was so happy to try Orencia and have it work for me.

Has anyone else had issues with insurance covering Orencia? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth the hassle or if I should look into other options.

My mom's on Orencia, and she swears by it. She says the injections are no big deal and the side effects are worth it to feel so much better. It's totally changed her quality of life. She injects every Monday at 8pm, drinks a glass of wine to take the edge off the scary needle part and puts on a movie. By Tuesday, she's back to normal.

I switched to Orencia after my first biologic didn't work out. It's been great, but I did have some flu-like symptoms for the first few injections. My doctor gave me some tips on managing the side effects, like staying hydrated and resting up. Also, use anti-inflammatory cream to help soothe itchiness or redness at the injection site. It really helped!

I had a bad experience with Orencia. I started getting weird skin lumps and my doctor had to take me off it. Thinking it wasn't for me, I went back to my original medication.

I've been on Orencia for a few months and it's been amazing for my psoriatic arthritis. I barely have any side effects as long as I drink plenty of fluids and take it easy for the day I inject. I almost feel like my old self, it's a relief.
