I was recently prescribed Ortikos 6mg ER Capsules for my ulcerative colitis. I'm curious to know if anyone here has tried this medication and what their experiences have been like. Specifically, I'd love to hear about any side effects you've encountered and how well the medication has worked for you. The drug info was quite detailed, and I'm wondering if others found it as reassuring or concerning as I did. It has some serious potential side effects but also claims to have fewer common steroid side effects, which is a huge selling point for me.

Has anyone had issues with hair growth? I heard that was a possible side effect, and I’m a bit worried about that. Anyone seen this happen?

I started taking Ortikos after my doctor assured me that the side effects were rare and manageable. I've had some dizziness and fatigue, but I'm not feeling as sick from the colitis.

I've been on Ortikos for about a year now. I didn't experience any of the serious side effects, but I did have some mild skin changes and pimples. These are minor compared to the benefits I've seen.

I'm thankful to have found Ortikos after suffering from ulcerative colitis for years. The side effects are a concern, but it’s refreshing to see a medication that targets the gut specifically and cause fewer systemic issues.

I've been on Ortikos for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer. I was experiencing severe flare-ups, but this medication has really helped manage the inflammation.

I'm actually looking into Ortikos for my mom. She's been suffering from ulcerative colitis and has had terrible side effects from other treatments. Hopefully Ortikos has fewer side effects, fingers crossed.

I started taking Ortikos a few months ago and haven't had any serious side effects yet. I do have some mild stomach discomfort, but it's nothing compared to the relief I get from reduced inflammation.
