Has anyone tried Palynziq 20mg/ml Inj, 1ml for managing PKU? Share your experiences and side effects!
I've recently been diagnosed with PKU and my doctor has prescribed Palynziq 20mg/ml Inj, 1ml to help manage my phenylalanine levels. I'm really nervous about the side effects, especially the urgent ones like allergic reactions. Has anyone else tried this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. What were your main concerns before starting, and how did the treatment go? Any tips for minimizing side effects would be greatly appreciated!

Palynziq has been a lifesaver for me. My Phe levels were sky-high before, and now they're finally under control. The side effects were annoying at first, but they've eased up significantly. Stick with it if you can—it's worth it.
Just started Palynziq last week. So far, so good! No major side effects, just a bit of a sore throat. Fingers crossed it stays this way
This is going to sound crazy but i got hair loss after taking it for a month. My doctor said it's a known side effect but i honestly didn’t expect it. Hope your experience is better!
I've heard mixed things about Palynziq. Some people swear by it, others say the side effects are too much to handle. It's definitely worth talking to your doctor about all the potential risks and benefits.
I'm glad I found this thread. I was really worried about the allergic reaction symptoms. My doctor assured me they are rare, but it's still scary. I think I'll keep a close eye on any rash or itching. Thanks for sharing your experiences!
I've been on Palynziq for a few months now and it's been a game-changer. My Phe levels have definitely gone down, but I did have some joint pain and headaches at the start. It's gotten better with time, though.
